About Mid-Devon
 Where in Devon is Mid-Devon?


The district of Mid-Devon is in the heartland of Devon and covers an area of 353 square miles, (914 sq km) - just slightly smaller than Dartmoor at 365 square miles

You can find it between the stunning Dartmoor, Exmoor and Blackdown Hills.  There are many AONBs, (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty), in Devon and Somerset 

Mid-Devon extends from the edges of Dartmoor in the South West to Exmoor in the North East
  


From the centre of Mid-Devon, the coasts of North and South Devon are each about 50 minutes drive   

The M5 and A30 both serve Mid-Devon.  

From the M5, for Tiverton leave at J27.   Mid-Devon Map
From the the A30, for Tiverton or Crediton leave at Exeter.
The drive up the Exe Valley to Tiverton is beautiful
  


Exeter Airport is only 23 miles away from Tiverton
