Because there are huge numbers of Web Sites on the Internet, (or World Wide Web), it can be tricky finding local information when you need it.  To help you,  Mid-Devon.Net offers an easy way of finding out about Mid-Devon

Mid-Devon.Net is a non-profit making Web Site.  It is not a commercial undertaking but another way of keeping our Community informed about all the things that are going on in Mid-Devon and what a great place it is to live in, work in, or visit

We are also here to help - please send us information on what is going on in your locality and we can help spread the word about your event by displaying it on our What's On pages - if you would like to see What's On at present see www.mid-devon.net/WhatsOn.htm

Whatever it is - fund raising for a new Village Hall, local Farmers Market, local Arts Group, Folk Festival - if you would like us to tell our Visitors please let us know well in advance and we will feature it on the What's On pages for the month that your event happens

We may also be able to help if you are seeking information.  Tell us what you need to know and we will try to find out all about it.  If we cannot find the information, our Visitors may well be able to help you

Why Mid-Devon.Net Looks Like It Does

We have designed Mid-Devon.Net to load quickly - you should be able to see the page fast even if you have an older computer and no Broadband Link.  We have no fancy flashy pages, just the local information you are looking for - it is not intended to appeal to young men looking for games

Our whole reason for existing is to make it easy for you to find web sites based in Mid-Devon, about Mid-Devon or of interest to those in Mid-Devon

The brainchild of Pauline Shield, Mid-Devon.Net was, (for a while), a Mid-Devon Community Planning Alliance Project.  Since that project came to an end the Web Site continues to be maintained by a Deaf Volunteer who lives in Mid-Devon.  Because I am deaf, if you wish to contact me please go to Contact Us or e-mail
